Some details:
- This 500+ bed hospital is in the popular city of Spokane, Washington.
It is the second largest hospital in Washington State and the largest hospital between
Seattle and Minneapolis. It’s part of a highly regarded non-profit network of 27
hospitals.
- The Cardiac ICU is a 22 bed unit with about 70 FTEs. They did 15 heart transplants
in 2005, and are proud to be the only cardiac robotic program in the entire

the new Manager will have the opportunity to design the unit and work with a very
engaged group of cardiologists and CV surgeons.
- The Manager is supported by four Assistant Nurse Managers, an educator, and an administrative assistant.
- This key position reports to the Director, Critical Care Services. BSN strongly
preferred. There is an excellent salary, benefit and relocation package.
Spokane is a city of about 195,000 people with 400,000 in the metropolitan area. It is located in the heart of the Inland Northwest and serves as a shopping, entertainment, and medical hub for parts of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and southern portions of Alberta and British Columbia. It is an outdoors-lover's paradise, with downhill and cross-country skiing, white-water rafting, camping areas, hiking trails, numerous lakes, etc. The city maintains its own symphony and jazz orchestras, along with a host of sites for theatrical productions, live music, and the performing arts. There are excellent public schools and universities, a major airport, and affordable housing (with acreage) commutable from the hospital. Another benefit is
no state income tax!
If you or someone you know want more information on this great opportunity in a wonderful city, please call me at 310/670-0525 x 107 or email your resume in confidence to rborer@bristolassoc.com.
