Group Director of Food and Beverage

We placed the Group Director of Food and Beverage for Australia’s premier entertainment, hospitality, and tourism and leisure company. The company has proud and historic origins dating back to 1910 and currently operates leading bars, restaurants, and unique food outlets. The company wanted a North American trained talent to move to Australia to assume this important management role. The Group Director of Food and Beverage (the U.S. equivalent is a Corporate Vice President of F&B) is a key business partner on the Executive Team and develops close and effective working relationships with business and functional colleagues. Our placed candidate is responsible for all aspects of procurement and food and beverage product development across all business lines. They also lead and advise F&B Managers in all business units to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction while maximizing profitability.

Executive Steward

Our client is the operator of various assets owned by a California Municipality of substantial size and scope. The Executive Steward is responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating the activities of all stewarding employees and all matters of staff training and orientation. A primary focus of the position is to maintain a safety-first work environment with emphasis on proper working conditions and equipment. The position also controls inventory, forecasts labor needs, budgets payroll, and implements preventive maintenance. Our placed candidate maintains control of china, glassware, and silver between all Food and Beverage functions and departments. They work with various vendors to obtain inventory and negotiate pricing.

Director of Food and Beverage

We made a placement for an operator of a large Convention Center, Performing Arts Center, Civic Auditorium, Opera House, and Theater with a total revenue exceeding $40mm at the time of the search. The Director of Food and Beverage plans and directs all service functions for banquets, receptions, and concessions at the Convention Center. Our placed candidate is responsible for supervising the development and production of all elements of service operations for catered and retail events.
