Vice President of Quality Assurance

The placed candidate spearheaded a QA and compliance upgrade program for a multi-site nutrition bar company. They upgraded the microbiology laboratory and reorganized and developed staff to meet around the clock production needs, resulting in increased proficiency and productivity. They also led a cross functional team to obtain organic certification and achieve application submittal for new overseas facility. Additionally, they implemented HACCP.

Quality Assurance Manager

The placed candidate managed and coordinated Quality Control personnel, lab functions and QC schedules for a plant. They also developed, evaluated, and reviewed records in order to recommend disposition necessary to assure the proper quality of all finished and raw products, and were responsible for conducting sanitation audits and ensuring current good manufacturing practices are followed. Additionally, they interfaced with production, sales and other departments to maintain established policies and quality standards, and monitored accurate records for the HACCP program.
