Our firm has been selected by a destination casino resort to manage their search for a key property executive.  The property operates and franchises highly themed restaurants, hotels, event centers, and casino properties in some of the world’s most desirable locations.  In North America, they are building a portfolio that will soon include 20 locations.  The hotels are rooted in a rock ‘n’ roll spirit, and each hotel embraces the unique culture and character of the location with energy and enthusiasm.

The Director of Facility Operations plans, directs and coordinates overall facility maintenance functions at both on and off site locations.  He or she will oversee maintenance of the entire property’s electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, water feature systems, multiple guest room towers, convention center, food and beverage outlets plus the outside perimeter of the property including landscaped and parking areas. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience in Construction Management, as well as ten (10) years of mechanical systems experience including management of buildings and hotel operations.
  • Must hold a fire safety director’s license, sprinkler standpipe license and a refrigeration license or equivalent educational experience.
  • Experience should include assignments at large hotels or casinos with, at minimum, 800 rooms and substantial infrastructure and amenities.
