Controller – Retained

We have been retained by a manufacturer of food products that offers a range of customizable options to vendors. Established for nearly 20 years, the organization distributes fresh and well-balanced meals with the highest-quality ingredients. Local candidates only please. 

We are searching for a Controller to provide a system of internal control to safeguard assets, assure the accuracy and reliability of financial data, promote operational efficiency and ensure adherence to established division and corporate policies and procedures. This person will monitor the maintenance of sound financial procedures and systems in the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, Product Standard Costing, Production/Inventory Control Data, Cost/Inventory Accounting and Fixed Asset Control. The Controller will also develop and maintain the plant cost accounting systems to achieve development of product cost standards, analyzing cost trends and providing related financial information and analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 7 or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance 
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000
