Controller

Our client is a manufacturer of customized food and beverage products (powders, concentrates) for the food service industry, located in the Los Angeles area (local candidates only). This is a special opportunity to join an established and growing, highly regarded category leader.

The Controller will improve internal controls and SOPs, conduct margin analyses, oversee month-end closing, and forecast cash requirements. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data for trends, provide insights to leadership, and align financial practices with business strategy. They will direct day-to-day accounting, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions. The Controller will also be responsible for financial planning, tax mitigation, and budget preparation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Eight or more years of experience working in accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Significant cost accounting experience
• Deep GAAP knowledge, ERP/accounting software proficiency, strong analytical skills, tax knowledge
• Experience with high-level financial planning
• FP&A experience

Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000 plus bonus
