Our client is a manufacturer of food products in the Los Angeles area in business for more than 30 years. This is a special opportunity to join an established and growing, highly-regarded category leader. 

We are searching for a Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations for the company, and to manage the manufacturing, planning, sanitation, maintenance and warehousing departments. This person will implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency, along with developing quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines and standards, by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated. The Director of Operations will plan, direct, implement, evaluate and monitor capital improvement budgets and costs, as well as leading the coordination and integration of efforts among operations and other related departments, to produce smoother workflows and more cost-effective business processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Seven or more years as a Director of Operations in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of warehousing, industrial engineering, plant safety, performance management and project management
• Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
