Our client is a Tribally owned casino resort undergoing major renovation and expansion. As one of the largest casinos in the area, the property offers thousands of gaming options, mouthwatering dining and bar selections, and sensational live entertainment. The Financial Controller is responsible for the overall direction and administration of all activities within the finance division, including accounts payable and general ledger. Our ideal candidate possesses advanced knowledge and experience in accounting, budgeting, financial computer systems, fixed assets, internal controls procedures, and financial reporting. The position reports to the Director of Finance.  

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; CPA required 
  • At least 7 years of senior management experience in casino accounting preferred 
  • Experience working in a high-volume gaming environment is ideal 
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
