We have been retained by a well-established mountain resort that offers a unique and unforgettable experience for guests year-round. The historic Lodge, located in the heart of the snowbound alpine village, features captivating amenities, including scenic gondola rides, diverse ski and snowboarding terrain, a spa and fitness center, and much more. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that works hard and plays harder!

The Financial Controller will oversee all accounting functions of the resort, which include general ledger, financial reporting, managing cash flow, accounting reconciliations, and assisting in the budgeting process. Our successful candidate will also supervise all staff in the department and train accounting-related roles as needed. The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
  • At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume accounting environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Great Plains Dynamics accounting software is a plus
  • Prior experience working as an Accounting Manager or Controller in a resort is ideal
