Our client is a manufacturer of customized food and beverage products (powders, concentrates) for the food service industry, located in the Los Angeles area (local candidates only). This is a special opportunity to join an established, rapidly growing and highly regarded category leader.

The Food Safety and Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s food safety and quality management program, in addition to leading the team in continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives. The successful candidate will drive accuracy for food safety and audit readiness, compliance with federal and state regulations, adherence to customer requirements, as well as tracking and maintaining accurate documentation for product rollouts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Five or more years of experience working in food safety and quality
  • HACCP, PCQI and SQF or BRC Certifications
  • Experience with acidified products and USDA protein highly preferred

Salary range: $120,000 – $130,000
