Logistics Manager

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all logistics and distribution activities for a seafood company. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost effective, and compliant transportation of fresh and frozen seafood products. They will maintain cold-chain integrity, meeting food safety regulations, and supporting customer service and sales objectives.

The position will plan, coordinate, and manage the transportation of fresh and frozen seafood products via truck, air, and ocean freight. They will oversee inbound and outbound shipments, including routing, scheduling, and carrier selection. The role will also monitor shipment performance, transit times, and freight costs; and resolve delays, damages, or temperature deviations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• Five or more years of logistics or supply chain experience with perishable foods
• Strong knowledge of cold-chain logistics and food safety regulations (HACCP, FSMA)
• Experience managing carriers, freight contracts, and transportation budgets
• Proficiency in logistics software (TMS/WMS/ERP) and Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000 plus bonus
