Our client is a processor of delicious seafood, located in the Los Angeles area. This is a great opportunity to join an established category leader and oversee the daily operation of the facility. Local candidates only please.

The Production Manager will manage production activities across multiple shifts and departments to manufacture products that meet established quality, food safety, innovation, sanitation and cost metrics consistent with schedules and policies. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate inventory of products, as well as accurate cycle counts; monitor/track production yields and assist management with determining required adjustments to improve yields and increase efficiencies; and troubleshoot supply chain issues. The role will implement processes and act as the process authority in all areas of the plant.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of three years in production supervision in food production
  • Knowledge of maintenance, QA, production scheduling, sanitation, forklift operation and regulatory agency requirements
  • Understanding HACCP, SQF and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Policies
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Experience working with refrigeration
  • Experience working with seafood is preferred, but not required

 

Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 plus bonus
