Quality Assurance Manager

Our client is a distributor of food ingredients located in Sonoma, CA. This is a special opportunity to join an established and growing, highly regarded category leader.

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and supervising day to day food safety, quality, and regulatory programs in compliance with SQF regulations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all quality and food safety programs, as well as identify risks and take necessary actions to prevent food safety, quality, and regulatory issues. The position will implement and maintain the SQF system and oversee internal auditing and inspection programs. The individual will also conduct hazard analyses, identify preventive controls, and validate control measures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working with food ingredients, spices, botanicals, or agriculture commodities
• Expertise in HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, SQF, and preventive controls
• HACCP certification
• Experience working with regulatory agencies
• PCQI certification
• SQF practitioner is preferred

Salary Range: $125,000 – $135,000 plus bonus and benefits
