Safety and Risk Manager

Our client is a bakery in the Los Angeles area that produces delicious baked goods sold throughout the United States (local candidates only).

The Safety & Risk Manager will oversee the company’s workplace safety program, including the injury and illness protection program and crisis program. The successful candidate will manage all workers’ compensation insurance claims, as well as implementing policies, procedures and controls to minimize the risk exposure of company assets. Additionally, the Safety & Risk Manager will develop and maintain training and development programs that support key performance initiatives for the organization. This position also requires managing all workplace safety efforts, and interacting with all staff members to ensure effective support of their wellbeing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Seven or more years of workplace safety and risk management experience
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Competency with PCs, Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Software and word processing

Salary Range: $100,000 – $145,000 plus bonus and benefits
