Senior Accountant

Our client is a manufacturer of food products in Philadelphia in business for more than 70 years. This is a special opportunity to join an established and growing, highly-regarded category leader. 

We are searching for a Senior Accountant for a food manufacturer in Philadelphia. They will prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Additionally, this person will analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. The Senior Accountant will monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness, as well as interacting with external auditors while conducting audits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, accounting or related field; CPA strongly preferred, but not required
• 4 or more years of accounting experience
• Inventory/Manufacturing Accounting experience is preferred
• Experience with reconciliations
• Experience with General Ledger, financial statement preparation and variance analysis
