Senior Mechanical Design Engineering Manager

Our client is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agricultural commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities. This position can be located in numerous locations in the U.S., or Canada.

The Sr. Mechanical Design Engineering Manager will lead and build a Product Mechanical Design Team to support manufacturing and product transfer initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee the creation of detailed 3D models for machinery, equipment, and structures, including all necessary mounting and piping requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Eight or more years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, with at least five years in a leadership or management role
• Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks design and drafting
• Expertise in metal fabrication, and material handling equipment
• Extensive mechanical and technical knowledge, particularly in equipment manufacturing

Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000
