Senior Plant Supervisor

Our client is a manufacturer of customized food and beverage products (powders, concentrates) for the food service industry, located in the Los Angeles area (local candidates only).

The Senior Plant Supervisor will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing the overall plant operations. The successful candidate will ensure that the plant’s production objectives are achieved at the lowest possible cost, while being consistent with quality requirements. The Senior Plant Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Five or more years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant that includes dry and wet processing
• SQF experience is preferred. Knowledge of maintenance, QA, production scheduling, sanitation, forklift operation and regulatory agency requirements is a plus
• Being Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge of dry blending and related equipment
• Knowledge of packaging equipment such as canisters, pails, and powders, as well as accessories such as printers, and labelers

Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000
