Supply Chain Director

Our client is a manufacturer of customized food and beverage products (powders, concentrates) for the food service industry, located in the Los Angeles area (local candidates only). This is a special opportunity to join an established and growing, highly regarded category leader.

The Supply Chain Director will manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. The role will oversee procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and vendor management to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will develop supply chain procurement strategy and business requirements, including managing food, beverage, packaging, and supply categories, ensuring quality and optimal food cost for multiple brands. The position will identify, evaluate, and recommend domestic and global sources of supply; issue RFPs; and negotiation with vendors/suppliers. They will oversee annual ingredient cost budget and period forecast projections within assigned areas of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Eight or more years of experience working in the food manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of the supply chain practices and processes, including sourcing, procurement, and contract preparation
• Strong analytical, decision-making, negotiation, interpersonal, and customer service skill

Salary Range: $150,000 – $178,000 plus bonus
