The Vice President of Sales is responsible for directing the activities of the field sales and customer service departments, including staffing, assigning customer accounts, training, customer relations, database management, marketing, and performance evaluations. He/she will strategize with the CEO and the executive team to set the direction and focus of the company’s short-term and long-term objectives. This person will develop pricing strategy and metrics to measure the productivity of field sales personnel and will attend trade shows and professional organizations to promote the brand.
