Warehouse Manager

Our client is a processor of delicious seafood, located in the Los Angeles area. This is a special opportunity to join an established and growing, highly regarded category leader. Local candidates only please.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the warehouse and cold storage facilities, overseeing the receipt, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound shipment of all products. The ideal candidate will manage a team of warehouse associates, forklift operators, and warehouse leads, while ensuring that inventory accuracy, throughput, food safety, and customer service standards are consistently met. They will also ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, including forklift operation, PPE usage, and ergonomic practices.

The position will direct day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound receiving, cold/frozen storage, pick/pack, order staging, and outbound shipping. They will communicate all operational instructions, safety protocols, schedule changes, and performance expectations clearly to the workforce. The role will maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting programs, physical inventories, and real-time WMS/ERP data management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a food manufacturing, food distribution, seafood, protein, or perishable goods warehouse environment strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, FSMA, GMP, and cold chain management in a temperature-controlled warehouse
• Familiarity with import receiving processes, USDC/FDA inspection procedures, and customs documentation
• Experience with Lean 5S, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies in a warehouse environment
• Forklift trainer or certified operator credentials

Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000 plus bonus
