VP of Culinary Innovation – Major Restaurant Company

The company’s flagship brand is a top leader in the restaurant industry focused on family dining in the US. The placed candidate was responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to strategically develop innovative ideas and successfully launch new products and concepts. Additional responsibilities included: heading a team of professionals to assist in brand marketing and working with Marketing and Consumer insights to test, train, and deploy new menu items for promotion.

Innovation Chef – Large Restaurant Chain

For a popular restaurant chain in the U.S., the placed candidate possessed the skill and knowledge to develop best in class food concepts for American cuisine. The Innovation Chef was responsible for assessing other leading restaurant chains to discover current trends and develop marketable recipes for the company’s menu and campaigns. Other responsibilities included: using external vendor resources to gather future development options, and managing food and product development projects with the collaboration of marketing, operations, quality assurance and purchasing leaders.

Director of Culinary

For a growing restaurant chain in the U.S, the placed candidate was in charge of leading the test kitchen in their Los Angeles location. The Director of Culinary was responsible for overseeing short and long term product development in order to meet or exceed the company’s profit, financial and market growth goals. The placed candidate is responsible for managing Innovation Chefs and implementing core menu development. The candidate tracks and researches food and beverage trend to discover innovation opportunities for the company.
