Controller

Our client is a racetrack that provides entertainment and year-round fun for all. Their beautiful grounds are highlighted by an expansive dining room, luxurious suites and a world-class racebook and simulcast facility that are open 7-days a week.

The Controller is responsible for financial statement creation/review, working capital/cash flow management, and implementing processes/software that advances the accounting department. Our winning candidate will have the ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment, be able to partner/collaborate with all levels of the organization, and mentor and develop talent. The position reports directly to the Corporate Director of Finance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a strong preference for experience in horse racing
• Demonstrated success in a hands-on managerial role in finance or accounting
• Experience in creating business reports
• Financial analysis and derivatives experience

Salary Range: Up to $100,000
