Travel, Tourism, and Attraction Recruiting and Executive Search

Your Travel, Tourism, and Attraction Recruitment Specialists

We are Bristol Associates, a boutique executive search firm, founded in 1967. A major pillar of our company’s long-standing Hospitality division is the Travel, Tourism, and Attraction recruitment team. Our experienced hospitality recruiters use comprehensive industry knowledge, an extensive network, and an ever-expanding database to place exceptional talent with industry-leading companies. Our contacts and connections throughout the industry are vast, and we foster these valued relationships with great care. For decades, Bristol has been regarded as one of the top hospitality executive search practices in the country, having successfully completed hundreds of placements. We work with a wide range of national and international clients in the travel, tourism, and attraction industries.

Our clients include travel agencies, travel agency consortiums, escorted and package tour operators, adventure travel companies, cruise lines, parks – national, theme, amusement, and water, family entertainment centers, museums, and performing arts centers. Over our agency’s 55-plus years of history, our hospitality team has had experience recruiting executives across all functions and verticals.

The retained search service Bristol offers includes sourcing, screening, submitting qualified candidates, scheduling interviews, and negotiating employment and compensation packages of selected finalists.  Each search is unique, and we provide personalized service to gain an in-depth understanding of our clients at the start of our relationship. Our strategy is mindfully tailored based on each client’s needs and culture. We strive to find the best fit for our client companies as well as our candidates.

Given our firm’s industry focus and vast database of talent, we have in-depth knowledge of compensation ranges from C-suite executives to mid-level management. We regularly advise clients on current job market conditions and consult on matters of compensation including base salaries, bonus programs, commission structures, incentives, benefits, and long-term compensation. We can provide customized compensation information (wage studies) à la carte to our main retained executive search services. The salary data we provide is always anonymous, in that it is tied to job titles and not executives’ names.

This destination resort/attraction also features two championship golf courses, condominiums, townhouses, and two hotels. They also monitor the maintenance of the building, facilities, equipment, supplies, and utilities in order to reduce damage and waste while controlling costs.

Vice President of Travel Services

Our firm was retained by a privately held not-for-profit national member association and service organization to conduct their search for the Vice President of Travel Services. The position is responsible for providing the vision, leadership, and strategic direction needed to develop and implement products, services, and initiatives for affiliated clubs that will positively differentiate the organization’s position and value in the travel industry. Accountabilities include building and maintaining quality partner and supplier relationships, ensuring collective club cohesion, effective use and implementation of technological distribution channels, alliance management, and staying abreast of changes that occur in the travel industry. Our placed candidate reports directly to the association’s President/CEO and regularly interacts with senior level executives of clubs, committees, boards, and preferred suppliers.

Corporate Director of Arcade Strategy and Operations

We were retained by a leading family-oriented resort operator to complete their Corporate search. They operate a portfolio of 17 resorts focused on families with young children. Each resort features a lodge with 300-650 family suites, an indoor water park, F&B, and additional amenities. Additionally, each lodge has a major arcade operation with branded, interactive games and experiences.
