Director of Human Resources

Our client is a rapidly growing restaurant group with extensive menu offerings and signature cocktails that leave guests coming back for their mouth-watering selections. Taking pride in making their meals from scratch, the organization is looking for an experienced Director of Human Resources to spearhead their HR department as they continue to develop more locations.

The Director of Human Resources will oversee the company’s team member relations, employment law compliance, safety and workers’ compensation, and benefits administration across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will assess current capabilities and functional requirements, evaluate HR policies and processes against the company’s current scale, and recommend staffing and systems aligned to strategy and growth objectives. The role reports directly to the Founder.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Five or more years of progressive HR experience in a full-service restaurant
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish
• Frequent travel to restaurant locations, primarily within California

Salary Range: $150,000 – $185,000 plus bonus
