Q the Applause: Bristol Places President & CEO

Q Casino is an entertainment hot spot that brings racing and casino gaming to their players in Iowa. With their current President & CEO retiring by the end of 2021, the Dubuque Racing Association retained Bristol to find their next executive. According to Board Chairman Kevin Lynch, their committee had “reached out to a couple other firms, but Bristol was by far the most responsive and professional company [they] spoke with.”

President Ben Farber spearheaded the President & CEO search with the help of Executive Recruiter Alexander Dodge. During the search process, they reached out to Alex Dixon, a former investment banker with eleven years’ experience as a gaming executive for MGM and Caesars Entertainment. Farber says, “Alex did an incredible job communicating his plan and vision for the role during the hiring process.
