Our client is an operator of several restaurant chains, located throughout the United States.

We are searching for a Head of Culinary Research and Development to oversee menu creation and product innovation. This position is located in the Southeast. The successful candidate will drive the product development efforts of a team of Executive Chefs, and will establish objectives and develop principles to guide product innovation team members. The Head of Culinary Research and Development will oversee the execution of the overall strategic product innovation plan for the company, as well as overseeing the innovation, research and testing processes. The ability to institute process improvements, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is crucial for this role. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, or culinary arts
  • Five or more years of senior management experience
  • Seven or more years of related experience, preferably in multiple-concept companies, with progressive roles of responsibility in a Culinary R&D department
  • Experience managing supply chains

Salary Range: $210,000 – $235,000 + bonus and other incentives. Relocation assistance will be provided.
